Images and names has been..well, cut off, so that their privacy is safe with me. Hehe, sorry for the amateur work. And you gotta click on the picture here to see the text, it's really blurr, don't know why. I have tried enlarging the picture more but the size is just the same after uploading. Oh my god. My friend from the academy just posted in her facebook page that the headmaster of the academy (revision: Rozsall, Damai) has been infected with the dreaded virus, H1N1~!! OMG!! Was I shocked or shocked??? Oh man, she told me that the headmistress got infected by her daughter, don't know how or where the daughter have been, but we'll soon find out on Wednesday (I'm on holiday now, be back there on Wednesday that is).

And I thought Sabah's safe from the virus! Because u know, the virus needs 2 'filtrations' -the airport where they come from and the airport where they land. But STILL, it manages to bust the 'filters'! Boy this virus is genius!

The headmistress had been away for some time, she told us that she's been sick. Like you know, the normal fever, sick la. Since last week..around Tuesday I think. Geez man! Luckily the staff there isn't infected, if they are, everybody in the academy has to check up! May Allah have mercy on us and protect us all, those who aren't infected. Aminnnnn...

Michael J Dies at 50

michael jackson dies at 50 2009

I was shocked to see the yahoo home page where there's this featured article about his death on Thursday before 12:30 p.m. PT, according to TMZ, who first broke the news of Jackson's death at 5:20 p.m. Thursday.

To die at such a young age -50 and to have scandals involving those children and financial calamity.

It was said that at the time of his death, our pop star was rehearsing hard for 50 shows at the London's O2 Arena, with the first set for July 1 in his rented home in Holmby Hills.

Paramedics tried to resuscitate him at his home for nearly three-quarters of an hour, then rushed him to the UCLA Medical Center which at this point he was in a deep coma, where a team of doctors, including emergency physicians and cardiologists, attempted to resuscitate him for a period of one hour and they were unsuccessful, according to his brother, Jermaine.

He was pronounced dead at 2:26 pm. An autopsy is set for Friday.

Michael's father, Joe Jackson, confirmed to E! News his son had a heart attack.

Fans remember Michael Jackson at the star they believe belongs to pop star Michael Jackson but that belongs to a radio personality of the same name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Thursday June 25, 2009 in Los Angeles.

"As word of his death spread, MTV switched its programming to play videos from Jackson's heyday. Radio stations began playing marathons of his hits. Hundreds of people gathered outside the hospital. In New York's Times Square, a low groan went up in the crowd when a screen flashed that Jackson had died, and people began relaying the news to friends by cell phone."

I think I'll do the same too, play Thriller and Beat It over and over again today. =)

TMZ reports that his sister LaToya ran in the hospital sobbing after her brother was pronounced dead.

A citizen from the NY city said that his friend, who was among the crowd outside of the hospital, said that it was like when Kennedy was assasinated. Just imagine how much people are fond of him.

"For Michael to be taken away from us so suddenly at such a young age, I just don't have the words. He was the consummate entertainer and his contributions and legacy will be felt upon the world forever. I've lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him." said Quincy Jones, producer for Thriller.

Michael Jackson and Uri Geller arrive to speak in aid of the charity "Help the Children" on March 6, 2003 in Oxford, United Kingdom.

His best friend, Uri Geller said, "I'm devastated. I just don't want to believe it". He believes that the pressure of doing the 50 concerts was putting the pop star under pressure, and worse, he was a perfectionist.

Briney Spears, excited to see his show in London, said that they both were were going to be on tour in Europe at the same time and she was going to fly in to see him. "He has been an inspiration throughout my entire life and I'm devastated he's gone!"

Justin Timberlake, who was so influenced by Jackson that he wore a fedora and glove and showed off Jackson-esque dance moves in his "Cry Me a River" video, also is mourning, "He has been an inspiration to multiple generations and I will always cherish the moments I shared with him on stage and all of the things I learned about music from him and the time we spent together. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones."

Awww...this is sad..maybe it's for the best. There's reasons for every happenings, and God loves him more. May God bless his soul, amen.

"Oh, my, LORD!!", screamed my heart when I saw the books in Asia City this morning. They were on 50% and 40% discounts~!!! It was on some biography books, non-fiction books, journeys, adventures, all from overseas and local. That's the RM10 for 3. Can you believe it?? Times! It's Times from Warisan Square that! That bookstore that sells magazines and oversea books. See how many those books are! It's a sea of knowledge here and it's cheap, cheap, CHEAP~!

There's anime too~! Fruitbasket and Angel if I'm not mistaken, there's hundreds more, believe me! Those seies books got also, and those like one-go anime also got. But the price for one book is averagely RM10. And it's thin, not so sure about it's worthness on buying it.

There's stacks more of fiction books, adventures, pregnant books, computer, business, health books, and lots more~! Just imagine, the fair consumes the whole centre part of the building on the ground floor and it extends on the 1st floor too~!

Nail Cracks - Home Care DIY

treat care for nail crack

Here's something I wana share with you guys out there, that is on how to get rid of the crack you sometimes get on you toes or fingernails, but I usually get them on my toes. Here's my left toenail where I got it recently and it's really annying to see it whenever I wear anything that bares my toes.

treat care for nail crack

Okay first you take this buffer here, this one I got from Watsons and it has 4 different sides with different feels. One is the filer (shapes the nails), a mildest-coarse (to smooth out the nail plate- surface of the nail)-white, and 2 smooth buffers in pink and grey colour. I like this buffer (black side) as it really does make the crack go away and the white side really does smooth out the nail after the first step. It's barely RM10 and you can get it on any Watson's store here in KK, don't know about other places la. For those who can't get it, anything that's rough, hard, will do. It will get it off as the nail isn't soft, it's hard too, so get something that's hard too.

treat care for nail crack
Now use the most coarse side, which is the filer (black), and swipe it on your nail plate. Use only ONE direction as multiple directions can break and ruin the grooves of the nail, put it that way.

treat care for nail crack
Hehe, excuse the ugly toe. This is how your nail will look like after you do it. The nail plate's cells are gone and if you have those hard, bumpy nail at one end of the toenail, you can do it there too to thin it out as needed. But not too thin though, I did it before, I didn't know kan. So the nails became really sharp as it was really thin and then I knew that was for the ridge of the nails, not the nail plate. Geez. xD

And last, use the white side of the buffer to smooth out your nail. It has this mild-coarse feel but it's more to soft than coarse. This watson's buffer really does it's job and I love it as it is affordable too. =)Same thing like step one just now, just ONE direction, no need multiple directions ya.

And here's the finished result~! Isn't it wonderful??

That time I did extra as there were some dirt in my toenail. I used a pusher with a blade and "scoope", as I call it. I used the blade part and take all the dirt out.

After this you can continue with buffing cream and buffer, cuticle oils, strengthener and nail polishes. =) Have fun~!

Homemade Scrub / Mask

homemade scrub mask

I have this routine I do whenever I feel like it or when I think my face and body needs some scrubbing. I would take mix organic sugar cane, Milelia Organic Soy Milk and and organic honey taken from the borneo forest. It' really expensive this one, RM40+, make it Rm50 la. The sugar, my mom bought it for...RM20 if I'm not mistaken and the soy milk is RM15 (member price). In this one I mixed organic rolled oats too, it's good for normal skin. Well mine's not really normal, it's normal-blemish at the moment I did this mask/scrub.

This routine is very fun cuz I just grab anything I can find in the kitchen when I want to do it. There's bananas, avocados, carrots, apples, cucumbers, papaya, yoghurt, and you can mix them with sugar, chocolate (I heard this is very good to stay youthful- make it a mask, use the eating one, not for cooking), sunflowers seeds, many more~! And for those who lives out of Malaysia where you can get fresh fruits at cheap prices, you're one lucky person!

homemade scrub mask
So I would just simply mix them, no hot water, because if you mix it with warm water/hot, the sugar will dissolve and I don't want that, I want the sugar to be the scrubb, the "grains", you know?

So in the bathroom I just slather them on and rub them in circular motions, starting from my face and down to my body. Everything is circular, that's more effective than just rub it back and forh. If you feel the sugar's too much and thus causing pain, add more milk or just the tap water to make it less concentrate.

I leave them on as long as I want, you know, read magazines, do some foot scrub (not with the homemade scrub aa), waiting my hair conditioner to seep in or just exercise and dance in the bathroom. There's lot of things to do while waiting~! xD Not embarrased to tell you this, true what. Everything needs to be done and if you're not smart, you'll fall behind.

Den after that just simply wash your face and body with tepid water. Avoid hot water if you already have a dry skin ya. =) From my experience, honey gives you that fresh and clean feeling but still has that moisture content on your skin when you touch it. Oats gives you that moisture balance, I like it too. Lemon's great when treating blemished or pimple-prone skin. Happy trying~!
