Quote of The Day: “Wealth Consists Not in Having Great Possessions But in Having Few Wants”
“Wealth consists not in having great possessions but in having few wants.”
― Esther de Waal

Hmmm....I think...this can be true, if the wants aren't exceeding their wealth. Say I have properties and am worth...1 million. Then say I just want one thing in this world- the new 2011 Ferrari 458 Italia. It's 2 millions! So I have 1 million, and I want a 2 million thing. Just one thing. So I borrow money and I'd be still in debt. I'd be super poor and might be marked bankrupt or blacklisted by banks. Not good.
So I think this quote “Wealth consists not in having great possessions but in having few wants" can only apply if the want is within the wealth's range and will still be rich after getting that want.
Shine on,
