World: Oldest Shoe on Earth
world's oldest shoe on earth

I got a newsletter from Stylist.com about this article about a discovery of a shoe, being the oldest in the world.

This shoe is a cowhide lace-up, encased in a pile of sheep dung, The New York Times reports. Oh my, glad our ancestor left it or we won't be able to see how their shoe looked like. This shoe reportedly pre-dates Stonehenge, the Egyptian pyramids and Joan Rivers, which reasons that it is 5,000 years old. Wow...

The shoe, made of a high quality, expensive leather, was told that it would fit a woman (or petite man) with a size 7 foot. Now I know why leathers are so popular..they never rot! =p

Shine on,
Del
