Hi all! I've been searching all over the net since yesterday about Pesta Kaamatan for year 2010. My guy had been telling me about it being at Keningau on 1st May, this Saturday. There were little information on the net and I couldn't find it! Well guess yesterday was my unlucky day cuz I found some information alas!

It was decided that the opening Kaamatan Festival event (Majlis Pelancaran Pesta Kaamatan Peringkat Negeri Sabah) to be held at Keningau this year. Y.A.B. Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman, Sabah's Chief Minister, will be doing the honour of launching this wonderful event there. The theme is "Kepelbagaian Budaya Asas Keharmonian."

Guess what people?? Martha Stewart's coming to town!! I read Daily Express just now and I'm so excited!! In the local section, the top part has an article that caught my eye- INSTANTLY.

With the title "US Talk-Show Celebrity Martha Stewart to Visit Sabah Next Month", I continued to read excitedly. xD



It seems like she'll visiting Malaysia for a week from May 19, according to a Tourism Malaysia official. Salahuddin Mohd Ariffin, vice president of Tourism Malaysia in New York, said that they have prepared an elaborate programme for the talk-show icon and her group that will be accompanying her.



Her group consists of her two associates, Memrie Mosler Lewis, a landscape architect and Sophie Martha Herbert and Zachary C. Pelaccio, a celebrity chef and owner of the Fatty Crab in New York City. Fatty Crab is actually a restaurant that serves Malaysian cuisine!! How wonderful!

It seems that this good news was due to Datin Amy Hamidon, wife of Malaysia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, Datuk Hamidon Ali, president of the Women's International Forum. She persuaded Stewart on visiting Malaysia! Hurray Datin Amy! So Malaysia Tourism supports Amy's initiative and made all the arrangements for her visit.



The US group will be visiting Kuala Lumpur, Melaka and Kota Kinabalu. One of the highlights of the plan is the Colours of Malaysia event. In Kuala Lumpur, the group will witness the intricacies of songket weaving at Tunku Nur Zahirah Foundation which is under the royal patronage of Her Majesty the Queen of Malaysia, Seri Paduka Baginda Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Nur Zahirah. Her Majesty will be there too!



Stewart, known to be passionate about food, she and her patronage will be treated to a "hawker's dinner" at Kampung Baru! Zulkifli Razali, executive chef of Bijan Restaurant at Jalan Bukit Ceylon in Kuala Lumpur, has invited Stewart to a cooking demonstration. Read their review here. The group will also be visiting the Petronas Twin Towers.

For Melaka, they will be visiting various landmarks of the city that has strong Dutch, Portuguese, Chinese and Indian influences that shows in their daily life as well as their food.



The Sabah visit will be organized by the Sabah Tourism Board and they will be visiting the Hosue of Skulls at Mansopiad Cultural Village, Marine Eco Research Centre at Gayana Eco Resort and the Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary in Sandakan.

Guess what?? This visit will be held the day after my birthday! I'll consider this my birthday gift- Sabah to be known more! ^^

I take back what I said about Reggie about his break up with Kim Kardashian at about 24th March 2010. It seems that the REAL REASON of the break up was of Kim's own fault! Or so it seems, according to ShowbizSpy. Can't believe this, if it's true! By the way, Kim looks just like her mom in the picture above right? ^^


Reggie was actually, nearly, proposed to Kim, but then he found some shocking evidence that Kardashian had been cheating on him with Kanye West! My god!

“According to an EXTREMELY RELIABLE insider, Reggie and Kim were on the road to getting married. Reggie even went so far as buying her a ring, and was waiting for the right time and place to pop the question.

“Well one day, Reggie was using Kim’s laptop when all of a sudden some IMs came over . . . from Kanye WEST!!!. And Reggie played it cool and answered them like he was Kim. And come to find out that Kanye and Kim were GETTING IT POPPIN for many months – ALL BEHIND REGGIE’S BACK!!

Wow, apparently, Madonna is having a fight with her long time friend Gwyneth! Wow this is shocking...Reports say it has something to do with business and how both ladies are control freaks and tangled over logistics.

Hey guys! Here's my 2nd post on the second day for Ms Mary's nail art workshop on 24th February 2009 (Tue). Yeah I record even the smallest details on my photo albums. xD

Above theme was sakura. And the colors was instructed by Ms Mary. So the creativity was up to us on how to draw and decorate. =)



This was batik, and the colors, as usual was determined by Ms Mary. So our creativity stepped in...

First of all, thank you Allah for creating this wonderful herb...it's scientific name is Leonurus sibiricus - L.
and Chinese Motherwort in English. xD It's commonly known as Kacang Ma in Sarawak.

Why am I so grateful for this plant? Well lemme tell ya something. I've been scouring KK for this herb- Gaya Street, Saturday market at Giant Kolombong, Inanam Market, Giants and all the shops I went in to! None sell this herb and that puzzles me! >.<

I was told that this is very useful in helping (or even curing) menstrual cramps, yes I do suffer from it and believe me, you won't be seeing me up and about on my 1st day of period. I'll be feeling cold and sweaty, pale, (usually will be at home by this moment) puke my last meal and took about 1-2 hours to sleep on my bed. My room would be like a sauna then- closed windows, doors, no fan, no aircond, no air, no wind. I would even cover myself with my thick blanket, top to toe and I would still feel cold while battling the pain, I tell you.

I ever faint during my primary years, twice or so due to this- it liked to strike in the morning and that was when I start to roll on the floor and moan like I was gona give birth, which I find very embarrassing now that I think about it sometimes. I fainted during assemblies- too long standing and heat I guess.

It got worse and more frequent as the years passed, till now, every month I'll suffer it. I dont' know why. So that was why I'm chasing this herb. And I got it last month! All thanks to Kak Ida!

I took it a day after my last period. So I drank it everyday, morning/evening. I would just make it like tea, put a teaspoon of it into hot boiling water and leave it closed for a while, then drink it.

And guess what? Last Thu was the day I was suppose to get my period (after 28 days). But I only bled a little in the afternoon. The next day, Friday, was the day I got it (before 12pm like that). I was hoping the herb would do it's magic, like, my pain would go away and no more cold sweats and such...but I was wrong!

I actually felt pain! I thought it would be just, mild pain, you know, maybe the herb will make the pain bearable at least. But no! As it grew more and more painful, I went home. I didn't puke, miraculously, I went straight to bed and started to read 13 Haunted Singapore Ghost Stories. xD It took me about 30 minutes only to doze off and the pain was like, 50% lesser than before! How amazing is that?? I actually didn't felt like dying for the first time!

So kacang ma, please show up and let me buy you..I really need to stock you up, my current stash is running low... >.<

I hear that this is used traditionally by the Hakka Sarawakians for moms post-pregnancy and for men's libido or something. Sounds nice eh? Oh ya the kacang ma I got was only RM3, about 1/4 amount of a paper.^^

Kim Kardashian, Joy Bryant and Amanda de Cadenet got naked for Harper's Bazaar's May issue! The naked issue’s purpose was to help ladies feel better about their natural body size, thus the different body sizes of the ladies.



Turns out Kim's breasts are real! No surgery!

But...the purpose of this magazine was to let ladies out there- moms, aunts, sisters, waitresses, to feel good about themselves. I don't think the magazine achieved it's goal, cuz I don't feel anything related to it when I see the pictures. Maybe the mag should put some REAL ladies/women instead of wealthy celebrities. We- public, don't feel the celeb's problems with their body problems you see, we all think they are perfect! And they are!

I'm gona show my work of 3 days of nail sessions with Ms Mary Jim from Everlasting Bridal House & Studio last year. She covered transfers, nail art and extension (acrylic powder and liquid).

This post will cover the first day on my work and others (they deserve the spotlight too!), date on 23 Feb 2009, Monday.

Above was my work. I painted the nail blue, added the stickers Sun-like and flowers at the left and the tip of the Sun-stickers. Then I added dots, making it rising from below. I don't know, when I put on the stickers, my next step just popped out. Juices flew into my brain and I would immediately immagine how it would look like.



This is Yvonne Lo's work! She did a different method, she used acrylic only while Ms Mary told us to do the transfers.



This, I think it's Yvonne's work too, she did this after the black flower. =)

Today we ate at Upperstar. Boy was I on the loose! xD I took fish and chips, shared baked potato soup (something like that, real tasty, with seafood), 2 meatballs (either crab or ), bite a bit on the apple pie danish and totally made myself super full! xD

Finally the juniors are back. One of the teachers told them off last week it seems. Wow, I'm surprised. Others don't seem to mind even a bit, puzzling me.

I saw a crack on my left heel! Oh my lord!! We were just gona go out and I saw it- forgot how, but I saw it myself! I got back, I used the foot rasp. Boy did I really scrub. xD Now it's gone, I put a lot of moisturizer on so that the skin heals nicely. Pray for me!

I went to the gym and I'm feeling so nice!! I missed my pink cheeks. ^^ I'm going fat by the way...tomorrow will be my diet day, till I kurus a bit!

Hey all!! Finally!! I got time to post pictures tonight! Here I'll post you pictures of nail arts I did on nails and toenails. Transfers on nails and nail art 3-D on the toenails. The stuff was bought at eNoveal, together with the 3-D's and beads I used.


The application was seriously easy, just stick it! Like, 5 minutes and I was done with both hands! But you might wana apply base coat first, den directly apply the transfer, cuz the transfer's sticking ability isn't so nice, it wears off after several minutes of application. So I suggest that whenever you use transfers, apply base coat, or double of it, the later would be still wet while applying the transfer and press it gently for a minute or two.


Another tip is that you check for the size of the transfer before purchasing it, cuz some transfers aren't big enough for some hands.

And for the leg..since the 3-D object was flower, I was thinking of white, pink..red maybe, but as I progressed, I thought of adding leaves. =)

Today I went for a facial at Herbaline and bought it's Deep Moisturizing Cream (link given will open a pdf file containing all of it's products).



When I got back home, I opened the package to get the bottle out. I noticed something! The packaging has changed! It got a makeover too!

The leaf with the name Herbaline itself are embossed on the package! You can actually feel the words! Cool huh?

Somebody tell me how can this happening to me and I would be very happy! The thing is, I've been suffering this conditions for about 2 days (I think) and it's kinda bothersome! My feet is killing me!



This condition affects the inner part of my feet and it's like, peeling, like the condition you see when you don't drink enough water. But I DO drink lots of water everyday! Maybe it's the cold in academy, it can be really freezing there you know, till your teeth chatters!


Urm, what I did, and I hope, will cure this condition, use foot scrub on and applied moisturizer afterwards. I used The Body Shop Lemongrass Deodorising Foot Polish and Fruit of The Earth Vitamin E Skin Care Cream.





The cream is heaven-sent, it moisturizes really well and I love it just as much as Annemarie Börlind For Lips. Really versatile like it's friend, Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera 100% Gel . I put it on my face when it really need it, like, once in a blue moon- most of the time, I put it on my hands and legs.

Crossing my fingers and hope it will be okay. =)

Another plus is that I don't need to be worried on accidentally eating it because it's all natural!
