I Dreamt of the Norwegian Cruise!!

I dreamt real strange....it's 11 am now and I'm not sure if I dreamt it in the morning or night or dawn.

limousine
I dreamt that I went to a holiday trip with my Convent schoolmates. I remember Setphanie Ho Mei Ling, cuz she was with a friend of hers that isn't from Convent. We rent a real nice car, it was convertible. And real long, like limousin. It was a black one.

We went through this road in the city, the road was like Kundasang-Ranau's, but the buildings were modern. Glass windows, tall buildings..left and right of us. And until it was nightime, nobody was left on the street. We went to this blocks of white building which looked lilke flats, like people live there but there were shops underneath and several more on the first and second floor of it, still open.

Then all of the sudden,we were on this deck by the sea and there were bad ghosts wana attack us. We were...like 15 of us and the ghosts were about the same amount. Some of us plunged upfront and counterattack the bad ghost at the front deck (has stairs). I was at the back, and then there was this one female ghost behind me. She look like one of the anime characters, yellow hair, big eyes and rounded face. I gave her 1 slice of pink guava and then I chased her down the back stairs of the deck, asking for it back. I don't know why. Then she stopped at the first fleet of stairs and turned around and said,"Okay we can share the guava, make a juice out of it". Then I turned back and head upstairs, "What can that little piece of guava do for us? It won't even make one." Weird huh?

Then my big brother (Koko) came and fought the ghosts at the back. They look small like gnomes and they wore this armour suits from ancient times..like the ones we see in rpg games. The above is something like what I dreamt, only that the part that can be opened at the eye is down at the mouth part.

Then my dad was beside me. I held out a map of the place. Like we were trying to get to somewhere up the hill and we need to cross the river using the Norwegian Cruise ship (I have no idea why I said that), hike up hill using I don't-don't-know-what and after we reach the higher part of the hill, walk upfront straight to...I forgot.

Then that was it. I woke up. The end. Weird huh?

Fear, Phobia Definition

Hi all! Happy Valentines and Chinese New Year! How was it? Mine was splendid! A visit to the Zoo, romantic stroll on the beach at 6pm and finally a movie at Cathay Cineplex! I'll upload photos- real soon!

This article really opened my eyes on the scopes of phobia's and fear. I myself is afraid of heights, and it's called Acrophobia. =) I hope this helps you all understand and gain info on your fears..

What is fear? Fear protects you from danger. On the other hand, phobias have little to do with danger. Phobia is an intense, irrational fear when a person faces a certain situation, activity, or object. They can be so intense they virtually paralyze you!

phobia
According to the experts, phobia has 3 categories:

Agoraphobia
An intense anxiety in public places where an escape might be difficult.

Social phobia
A fear and avoidance of social situations.

Specific phobia
An irrational fear of specific objects or situations.

phobia
Someone with agoraphobia is afraid of being trapped in a public place or a place like a bridge or a line at the bank. The actual fear is of not being able to escape if anxiety gets too high. Agoraphobia affects twice as many women as men. (wow!) Untreated, it can lead to someone becoming housebound.

Someone with a social phobia is not just shy. That person feels extreme anxiety and fear about how he or she will perform in a social situation. Will her actions seem appropriate to others? Will others be able to tell he's anxious? Untreated social phobia often leads to avoiding social contact, it can have a major negative impact on a person's relationships and professional life. (Oooh this isn't good. Not good.)

Now to the specific phobia category. Read on to understand better the definition! Below are phobia's under this category!

claustrophobia
Claustrophobia
An abnormal fear of being in enclosed spaces. A person with claustrophobia can't ride in elevators or go through tunnels without extreme anxiety. Afraid of suffocating or being trapped, the person will avoid tight spaces and often engage in "safety seeking behavior" such as opening windows or sitting near an exit.

Zoophobia or Fear of Animals
Zoophobia is a generic term that encompasses a group of phobias involving specific animals. Examples include Arachnophobia(fear of spiders), Ophidiophobia(fear of snakes), rnithophobia(fear of birds) and Apiphobia (fear of bees). Such phobias often develop in childhood and sometimes go away as the child ages.

Brontophobia (AKA AstraphobiaA)
An abnormal fear of both thunder and lightning and guess what? It is shared by people and animals too!

Acrophobia
An excessive fear of heights and manifests as severe anxiety. Sometimes the fear is so great a person can't move. (yeah like me.) Acrophobia can create a dangerous situation for someone who has it.

Aerophobia
Afraid of flying. The phobia generally develops after a person has a traumatic experience involving an airplane. Even after the incident is forgotten the fear stays and can even be triggered by watching film of a plane crash on TV. Hypnotherapy is commonly used to identify the initial trauma and to treat this phobia.

blood
There is a spectrum of blood, injection, and injury phobias including hemophobia (fear of blood) and trypanophobia (fear of receiving an injection). These are the only phobias that are associated with fainting. A drop in blood pressure is common when encountering these situations, but in people with these phobias the drop is extreme. (Wooo dangerous!)

Triskaidekaphobia
An abnormal fear of anything related to the number 13 (reminds me of Jim Carrey in The Number 23). If the thought of ghosts makes you overly anxious, you may have phasmophobia. Terrified of bats? Then you're suffering from chiroptophobia.

Emetophobia
An unnatural fear of vomiting that typically starts early in life from some traumatic episode. The anxiety can be triggered by thoughts of vomiting or thinking of somewhere such as a hospital, where vomiting is common. As with aerophobia (fear of flying, fresh air), hypnotherapy is commonly used in part of the treatment.

alone
Carcinophobia AKA Cancerophobia
An irrational dread of developing cancer. Every bodily discomfort becomes a sign for them that they have a malignant growth somewhere inside (wou...). They also are afraid they can get cancer by coming in contact with someone who has it. Cognitive therapy(helps people overcome their difficulties by identifying and changing dysfunctional thinking, behavior, and emotional responses) can help someone with carcinophobia regain control of their life.

Neophobia
Someone who fears anything new. Someone who is afraid of growing old or afraid of old people has a gerontophobia. Somewhere in between, you might find someone with phartophobia, which is an unreasonable fear of passing gas in a public place (my lord this IS irrational). Someone with odontiatophobia will go out of his way to avoid going to a dentist. And a spargarophobic individual will panic over a plate of asparagus (wow very weird).

FACTS:

Alcoholics can be up to 10 times more likely to suffer from a phobia than those who are not alcoholics. And phobic individuals can be twice as likely to be addicted to alcohol as those who have never been phobic. That's alarming.

Although phobias can be influenced by culture and triggered by life events, they tend to run in families. Immediate family members of people with phobias are about three times more likely to have a phobia than those without a family history. Waaaa..

Desensitization is a process of gradually exposing someone with a phobia to circumstances that resemble what he fears. Over time, the fear lessens as the person builds confidence. This is often accompanied by talk therapy to help the person change how he or she thinks and develop new patterns of response to situations that might trigger the emotions associated with a phobia. The good news is treatment helps 90% of people who follow through. This is good news! Oh god don't tell me they put Acrophobia's (people who fear heights) on really tall, steep hills or buildings. Oh god I can't imagine...

Friend Reunion!

delilah and carlissa friends reunion warisan square kota kinabalu sabah

I wana introduce, Carlissa! She's my good-best friend from high school and we're still in touch! We met last week and she's still the same Sa I knew back at school 3 years ago. She still says, "Tai babi la kau"..or say stuff like, "ada hujan..kilat..hitam.." when I talk about scary of disappointing stuff. xD

We ate at Pizza Hut and I belanja her, it was her birthday yesterday.

Happy Bday Sa!

We met at Centre Point and after we filled our stomach with tuna's and pineapples and cheese, we set out to go shopping!

She bought stuff but I, well...I didn't see anything I want! All the 40%, 20%, 70% didn't succeed in luring me into taking out my purse and pull out some cash. Don't know la why.

We covered everywhere basically, from the Ground Floor to the 4th (Palm Square) and finally to Warisan Square.

We wanted to rest and she thought of Old Station. And FYI (definition: for your information), it's no longer at it's old spot! It's now at 1st floor of the Guardian block. Aaaaand we tidak jadi masuk cuz it was freaking hot. That shop doesn't have aircond! My god. To think that Damai's branch has that facility. No budget ka Warisan branch?

Anyhuuuu...we went to Wong Kok. It's next to Old Station and it's very much like Old Station, except the fact that it's seats and tables are like Chicken Rice Shop's (1 Borneo) or Old Town (1 Borneo). Long and the seats act as dividers too (people front and back wont' be able to see you but the one next to you). Nice one, I feel relaxed and I do feel the 'yamcha' aura. =P

It sells many stuff you know, a lot! I suggest all of you to go there. From main dishes (mee's, wanton, rice, etc) to side dishes to dessert and hot (cofee, etc) and cold drinks (milkshakes, ice cream, ice blended, etc).

delilah and carlissa friends reunion warisan square kota kinabalu sabah
We ordered drinks only and I didn't know which one to choose. She ordered Peach and Lemon..something something. It was freakingly large. Seriously. I don't know where the shop gets it. We should've just shared it man. The drink was served with 2 straws in it. =P Guess it is a 2-person drink. This drink, if drank on a hot, sunny day, would be a bliss. It's sweet, fruity-sweet and has that peach taste. It's not watery, it's like, thick and rich in the juice!

delilah and carlissa friends reunion warisan square kota kinabalu sabah
Mine, I ordered Chocolate Lava something something. It was really satisfying, both to my cravings and my tummy. xD Notice the choc-nuts decorations around the glass? It's edible! The taste wasn't as I expected- sweet chocolate Vochelle-like. It has this bitterness, which I think it was dark chocolate! Wow even better than I thought! There's still sweetness but the bitterness sure was there.

Both the drinks are RM6.70 each and the service charge was RM1.30+. Not bad, I was really full and Sa couldn't finish her drink, we only managed to finish up 3/4 of the drink.

delilah and carlissa friends reunion warisan square kota kinabalu sabah

Oh, and we both weight nearly the same. We promised to weight lesser the next time we meet. Wish me luck on that. And it was really nice to see her that day. =)

Another song here;

Strumming my pain with his fingers,
Singing my life with his words,
Killing me softly with his song
-

In this case, it's with this work~ C&G students last time tiada pun kena kasi projects to do. Apa lagi 6?? Crazy la want us to do all 6 people and make them slim or facial appearance better in...what, 2 months? We need to practice ody what on May for practical exam. And I mean the REAL thing. But Yvonne and kakak so nice, they were given 1 only, which was the salon thingy. That's it. I and Denise, we need to do 6 people and have to give result. That's all we were told.

Another song here;

You spin my head right round, right round
When you go down, when you go down down
-Flo Rida

So what I'm gona do now is focus on my knowledge requirements. Amin.

Ooooh ya got new students SKM2 (MLVK 2) from KL came just now. They're settling in. Don't they know it's already crowded here as it is? Sudah la I have no classroom.

After this I'm gona call up my mom and ask about the money transfer and follow my baby pay his bills. Oh and I'll go cancel my RHB account. I don't need it anymore and plus, it's inactive already. =P I'll just stick with my Public Bank.

I'm gona ask about the name cards for bb again before I leave here.

I want lekor! Khidmat Supermarket isn't selling it anymore and I'm so sad about this! Ada siapa2 tau mana2 yg jual lekor? Mebe the Tg. Aru beach people sell them kan?

herbaline update 2010
What's in the bag? Read more to find out!

Do you guys know about Herbaline? Yin Yin sells them and performs treatments using it! The products are absolutely amazing, it has ingredients from all over the world and made by Nanotechnology coupled with clinical formulations from Taiwan. I'm using some of the products by the way. I've also did a review about it (Yin Yin Natural Beauty, Centre Point). Ok la, boleh la..

herbaline update 2010

Okay now to the update! I went there last week and I had regular facial (RM48) and bought Herbaline Nano Aloe Vera Facial Wash 50g (RM35) and Herbaline Sterilizing Toner (RM48). Aaaand since it's gona be Chinese New Year, they have promotion now! You'll get 5 packet of angpau's and 2 vouchers when you spend RM100 above!

herbaline update 2010
There's 2 vouchers, one for you, one for a friend of yours who's never been to Yin Yin. You'll get RM10 off any treatment above RM50 and that friend of yours will get RM20 off any treatments RM48 and above. It's like they use the 2009's voucher, they cross out the product purchase and the date has been changed to 2010. Sooo the cheapskate, they use leftovers from last year!

Mine's valid till 15th April 2010. 2 months away!

herbaline update 2010
And for the angpau..I got 5 of them and the lions are soooo cute! I like the middle one, gold!

The Herbaline Nano Aloe Vera Facial Wash has changed!! It has changed to a bigger version and the price has gone up from RM20 to RM35! The smell and texture has changed too. It still smell nice la, but more to orang-ey smell.

Sandra Bullock Has a Kangaroo Dog!

sandra bullock has kangaroo dog

Well..this article changed how I look at celebs with their pets...

Sandra Bullock's pets, Ruby anbd Poppy, are kangaroo dogs, or Dogaroo's as I'd like to call it on my past article about Amazing Animal Stories. But they do look like kangaroos don't they??

Bullock doesn't mind the extra effort her pets take; in fact, she thinks she could handle more!

"Any dog that is missing something is welcome in our house," she said of her Texas home, which she and hubby James share with his pups, as well. "If we can't handle them, we find them a home. But they seem to find us."

If only Malaysian celebs do like what US people does to animals...the good way I mean.

Robert Pattinson As A Singer?

robert pattinson
What do you guys think about it? In my point, I think it'll be abit too much as he's already had this image of being a vampire amongst the real living bla bla bla..so it'll be a bit weird for a vampire who we all adore so much be singing on stage and all...

It’s rumored that Simon Cowell is so smitten with the actor he has ideas of turning him into a pop star.

“Robert is reluctant to be turned into a pop star – and takes his music very seriously. He is a bit wary of signing up with Cowell who is, of course, associated with X Factor and pop.”- The Sun

That's a bit to worry about..but I think if he wants to start on the singing zone, make it in another episode of the Twilight movie, you know, like, vampire playing the piano for Kristen or he gains this power of singing or something. Then maybe we'll all be able to digest it instead of his sudden appearance on tv, singing in trendy, modern costume and all you know. Make it discreet and a bit by bit.

Simon isn't the only man who likes Robert. Hugh Grant too! He insists he can understand why the Twilight hunk has become such a pinup!

Robert Pattinson Is Sexy, Says Hugh Grant

Hugh Grant, 49, is crazy about Robert Pattinson! He's like, adoring him! Wow. =P

The British actor says that Robert is “really sexy” and insists he can understand why the Twilight hunk has become such a pinup and he hasn't watched the second part of Twilight yet!! Okay that, I can see.

“I haven’t watched the second part yet of Twilight yet, but I understand the fascination with Robert. I think he’s really sexy!” said Hugh, 49.

Simon Cowell has a big crush on Robert too! He thinks of making our vampire a singer! What do you think?

The couple who had their wedding on December last year, adopted female teacup Maltese-Yorkie on their way back home from their honeymoon at Cabo, San Lucas.
Isn't she adorable??

“They had that newlywed bliss,” Colene, owner of CR Puppy Love, told People Pets.

Recent reports claimed Kevin and Danielle are keen to start conceiving! Kevin even starts to pick out baby names and he's got one for a girl- “I want to have a daughter named Madison Grace.”

Another bundle of joy to be celebrated about by the Jonas clan! =)

Healthy Food

I've always wanted to start eating veggies and fruits...I mean, like, everyday, not just once-in-a-blue-moon kind of thing. I wana be healthy!

I saw Top 10 Foods That Are Good For Both Low-Fat and Low-Carb Diets and I got an idea on how to make my everyday diet green by just adding one or more of the food on the list!

lettuce
Darker greens and lettuces are wise choices, as they pack extra vitamins and minerals.

asparagus
This beautiful low-carb vegetable (not to mention they look like criss-cross fries)can be a centerpiece of low-carb or low-fat dishes. Asparagus is low in calories and adds vitamins like folate and vitamin A. I never taste them tho. What does it taste like?

zucchini
I never take this one either. Zucchini is another low-calorie, low-carb vegetable -great when added to salads or stir-fry dishes, or sautéed alone or with other vegetables.

Tomato
Tomatoes are a staple for sauces and have lots of uses in the kitchen (yes they do!). I always have them in my tuna sandwiches.

Salmon
Salmon is a fatty, though healthy, fish, rich in omega 3 and protein! Taste great too!

Chicken and turkey are both great choices because, when prepared properly, they are both low-fat and excellent protein sources. (come to think of it, it's true) Organically raised chickens and turkey make even better selections. (I agree! My mom saw Nutriplus organic raw chicken at G-Mart, Inanam for about RM10 for whole chicken!)

Game meat
Game meats, such as venison and elk, are very lean. They are healthy substitutes for fatter, hormone-tainted beef. (Wow I don't think I've seen any of these here in KK..)

Broth or stock can be used as a base for soups, stews and sauces. Stocks and soups can also be used in other recipes to keep meats moist during cooking.

berry
Berries are high in vitamins and antioxidants, so they make a great dessert or nice addition to salads. (Oooh this is great for yogurts and morning cereals!)

wine
There are studies that show a correlation between wine consumption and good health. Remember that one serving of wine is only 4 ounces. I hear they are the delicious ones among the other alcoholic beverages. =P

Nicole Scherzinger: By My Side Singer Split with Lewis Hamilton!

Nicole Scherzinger spli with lewis hamilton
Awww this is toooo bad! The artist who created By My Side hit together with Akon has called time on their romance to focus on their respective careers. The couple of two years confirmed on their split on Monday, January 11 2010.

“They have decided to go their separate ways,” said a rep for the former couple.

“They want to focus fully on their careers and will remain close friends.”

Is there any hope of rekindling the lost relationship?

Suspicion of the "The Other Woman" or "The Other Man", the article displayed the last part of it..

“But they had to be realistic. There was no way they could continue their careers and stay together — it was getting way too stressful. No-one else is involved, their careers just got in the way.”

Too bad man.

Katy Perry's Lesbian Desires

Do you know that Katy Perry is now engaged to Russell Brand, a British Comedian? It was last year on the month of December! xD

She insists that she’ll start dating women if her man is unfaithful.

“I have a soft spot for women… if any of my boyfriends ever fail me, I’ll turn to them!” Perry told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper. “Some women walk into the room, and they’re so beautiful and you’re like: ‘I wanna smell you,’ you know.

As for a clue on why she loves her man..

“Russell gives me the Christmas Eve jitters — that feeling you had as a child. You’re wiggling your feet under the covers because something exciting is going to happen.”

Hope they'll stay together forever and ever!

Nail Art Design: Flower

Hi all! I want to show you guys my friend Yvonne's toenails! I took the pix on the day I got my Perfect Nail Work! I'm still a bit in the 'shock' mode.. =P

This was done at a nail art salon at Damai Point! It is right next to Watsons and it was like, above RM50 ka. Nice also la, it's very creative and I learnt stuff from it like adding a 3-D object on the glitters you put!

nail art 3 d white flower
The nail polish was something like silver with gold specks. Very nice one. Fresh and I think this will look great for Autumn-Winter looks, with the flower and all. =)

To brighten up the nail, big specks of shiny purple glitters. Stuff like this you can normally get from bottles that looks like nail polish bottles too. The nail polish would be colourless.

nail art 3 d white flower

Then the 3-D work. You can use specialized nail art glue for this, it will stick. I mean, if you just use normal paper glue it won't work. What if you bathe? UHU won't be any good, you're applying this on your nails man. UHU isn't for nails. But before you buy this nail art glue, be prepared to spend money on a specific solution that can remove them too. It's about RM20 at eNoveal.

To apply these objects, get a tweezer that has a pointed tip, but longer than ordinary ones. The 3-D objects on this nail art was white beads, gold and white stones and white flower. Nice kan! Like decoration you find at rooms ni.

That's all! I hope you enjoyed it!

Perfect Nail Work!

Hi all!! I'm so excited!! It's midnight and I'm supposed to be very sleepy now but I'm not! I'm gona make the first post for the blog!

This is about my work during SKM 1 (MLVK 1), which was just doing manicure and pedicure on nails and these was my best work of all! I surprised myself even! Couldn't believe myself that time! I did two people that time, one on Kak Nita and Womanizer's toenails. I'm not gona say their names here, confidential!

perfect nail work before pedicure

This was Kak Nita's, she's middle-aged and she's not the type that goes for beauty salons and get herself done there. So you can guess by the length of her toenails that she prays (she's a muslim).

perfect nail work before pedicure

Here's a close up! I know, nasty. See the cuticle there? A lot of them! I had a blast removing them! =P I love these kind of thing, like, removing, scooping, trimming the gross anatomy of nails (just like teacher Shirley). =P

Aaaand tadaaaa! I used eNouvelle's nail polish, it was like, olive green and it's a really nice colour! I know it doesn't suit her but I wanted to try it out (I just bought it)!

I didn't do these..she did it herself at home..and it went..urm...ugly. =P

We weren't taught French at the academy. Belajar sendiri la~

I had a nice time doing her! It was like extracting blackheads you know! She had ingrown a bit on both of her big toenails, the outer part. Teacher told me to just scoop-korek everything out underneath and cut the excess skin under the hyponchium there. It was fun watching her!

On to cuticles..massage..then nail polish and walaa!

I surprised myself on this one really! Seriously! I couldn't believe I can do it so perfect like that! I used Silkygirl and it was easy with that. It stayed with me until I went for the SKM 1 (MLVK 1) exam. I had to buy another bottle of it of course, the polish by that time dried out already!

So how was it? Nice kan? I'll post nail art after this one! Stay tuned! Pretty sleepy now.. =P Good night all! Sweet dreams!
