T.I Sentenced to Jail!

T.I went to jail

Our male rapper, T.I was sentenced to a year and a day in jail by a Northern Georgia District judge on on 27th March for felony weapons charges (his October 2007 arrest on the eve of the BET Hip-Hop Awards), calling the rapper's plea deal "experimental" but a phenomenal success.

"T.I. is expected to go to jail voluntarily within six to eight weeks but won’t make it their before May 19 due to performance obligations. However, T.I. very much impressed the court with his attitude and action turnaround since the arrest. The rapper has met and helped several humanitarian causes in Atlanta." - Anything Hollywood.

Well starting from here I expected of a reduction of the punishment.

Thanks to the plea deal that he made last March, he would have to complete 1,000 horus of community service before sentencing, pay a $100,000 fine and agree to do 500 horus of community service after he's done with his time in prison (which is the 1 year and a day).

According to court's reports, he has done 1,030 hours of community service, 305 days of his required one-year home confinement and He was required to pay a $300 fine immediately and make due on his $100,000 fine. Gee this amount of money that needs to be paid...speechless.

I guess rappers are more prone to have problems with the law about weapons eh?

WARNING: Tanjung Aru Robbery in Daylight!

My dad told me just now that his friend, was robbed before noon last Friday if I'm not mistaken. He was from kk going to the Tanjung Aru beach where there was this car side by side with him on the road. This friend, who happened to be an ustaz, pulled by the Petronas station on the left. The car followed and 2 big size, chinese men rushed out and straight away hit the poor guy in his own car!

This is real ya, no kidding! There were 2 chinese women in their car, waiting la. The men beat the crack out of the guy whom my dad say isn't the one who fights back. He got fractures and his eyes like bulging out my dad said and for that, he's in ICU now.

It seems like they asked for RM5,000 from the poor Beaufort guy but they gained RM500 cash with his handphone only. Geez, what's wrong with those people??? Just take the money la, why wana beat him up like crazy kan??

And more, the petrol station people who were inside the shop tried to help but got hit too, instead. What a sad thing, and those robbers sure will get the punishment that they deserve when they get caught! May Allah bless the poor ustaz. Amin.

I think if you're quick-witted, you can hit the road again and drag the stupid people or you can break his arm or what ma. Aih but I don't know, maybe I would've panick if somebody suddenly attack me from my own windwoshield man. So be careful when you're there or anywhere near there aite! Spread this around!

Stay safe.

Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera 100% Gel Review

review fruit of the earth aloe vera 100% gel

I have done this product's review before in my note in Facebook, but I still wana update my review here~!

The best thing about this product is that it's so universal that I simply couldn't think of anything else but this when it comes to an all-rounder product~!

I use it to soothe my skin when it itches or becomes irritated (I rarely get these, but scratching results in scars that will take a long time to be gone you know!). It works real nice when i cool it first in the freezer, then apply it. Feels like heaven I tell ya! I used to use it as a shaving gel, it worked real nice till I use the plucking method instead. I think it's better since plucking pulls the roots out instead of shaving the top layer part only.

I also used it for my hair when I ran out of hair spray and gels and I needed something that will hold my hair in place. Too bad it didn't hold it very long in air-conditioned room. =)

review fruit of the earth aloe vera 100% gel
And of course, when I run out of moisturizers, I use it! For my body of course, the product isn't THAT 100% pure aloe vera, it still has chemicals in it. Here are the ingredients: Aloe Vera gel, Trethanolamine, Tocopheryl Acetate, Carbomer 940, Tetrasodium EDTA, DMDM Hydantoin, Diazolidinyl urea.

review fruit of the earth aloe vera 100% gel
This is a gel, and it's more to water than oil. It's cool and watery but still has the gel-like feeling. When applied, it leaves your skin feeling lightly moisturized and cooler, even when it's applied at room temperature! Your skin will feel cooler and supple for a while, and this is great to freshen up and flush out all your tiredness away after a hectic day!

It's sold about RM10-RM15 here in kota kinabalu, I don't know about other places la. =)

Review: Partition

review movie partition

I just watched Partition, just now in Star Movies.

Here's the sypnosis of it.
"A love story played out against a backdrop of political and religious upheaval. At the end of the Second World War, 38 year-old career soldier Gian Singh( Jimi Mistry) resigns his commission with the British Indian Army and returns to his childhood village, near the border with Pakistan. Haunted by the memories of war, he seeks a quiet life of farming, solitude and prayer. His peace is shattered in August 1947, however, when India is granted independence. A new border is drawn between Hindu-dominated India and Muslim-dominated Pakistan, and the region is torn apart by massacres fueled by ancient animosities. In the midst of one such massacre, Gian finds Naseem(Kristin Kreuk), a 17-year-old Muslim girl, and takes her under his protection. They gradually find themselves drawn to each other but, as their remarkable story plays out, the obstacles to their happiness prove all but insurmountable."

"Partition, a co-production between Canada, the United Kingdom and South Africa, is a sweeping, historical drama set against the partition of India and based on the real life experiences of director Vic Sarin’s family." Wow, no wonder it's so great. It's so great that I recommend it to all of ya!

The movie touches the heart and I do feel the suffering and the political life, including the feel of a mother for her child while fighting for the love of her life. I feel ya, Kristin. I rate this movie 9/10. It's as close to perfect~! =)

Doesn't she look gorgeous in a saree? My, it's breathtaking!

review movie partition

She looks like Aishwarya Rai here don't you think?

There were parts of the movie not screened. Seems like Star Movies cut the love making scene, not that intense but the point is, they cut it and here's the missing action =) (p/s: He's so nice without the turban! Looks like a gladiator man!)

The movie is sold in DVD format in Amazon for $26.99. It's after 10% discount people~

He doesn't know this, and I don't feel like telling. =)

Jade Goody's Funeral

jade goody funeral
"For her funeral, it is likely that there will be a procession through two local villages, while the church service will be beamed to TV screens to be watched by crowds outside. "

Her death was on the British newspapers today. Flowers are flourishing at the gates of the Tweed's.

"Prayers were said for her at local churches, including St. John the Baptist at nearby Buckhurst Hill, where it is likely her funeral will be held.

She was a "kind of Princess Di from the wrong side of the tracks," observed actor-director Stephen Fry."

Jade Goodie died on Sunday March 22

jade goody died march 2009
Jade Goody, 27, has passed away earlier this morning at just before 4am, according to Max Clifford, her publicist and a friend of hers. She was sleeping when she passed away. (sorry for the usage of the PASSED AWAY phrase, I think it's rude to say DIED)

Jack Tweed, her husband, and her mother, Jackiey Budden, were there when she passed away. I don't know about her kids but I think they'll make it through, as she had gave them hints that she would 'go away' soon. Poor children.

Here's something about her and her story on the disease:

"Goody, 27, rose to fame on the British version of the reality show Big Brother in 2002, and was rarely out of the British newspapers and gossip magazines in the years that followed. But her story went global when she discovered she was suffering from cervical cancer – while appearing on the India version of the reality show in August.

Then, in February, she learned that the disease had spread and she only had a short time to live. Since then, her achievement has been to raise awareness of her cancer and how prevention could help others," Clifford said.

He adds, "Her legacy will be that a lot of women owe their lives to Jade Goody because of her public announcement and battle against cervical cancer," which has led to increased knowledge of it and the screening necessary to catch it."

All my condolences goes out to Tweed's family and Goodie's.

Sweet Daily: Poppy Seed Cheese, Coco Man, Coconut Man Review!

sweet daily review food poppy seed cheese coco man coconut man

Yesterday I bought the Men of Sweet Daily! (Poppy Seed Cheese, Coco Man and Coconut Man) The Poppy Seed Cheese and Coconut Man is hard to extinguish which one is which one tho, although both of them look the same and tastes just the same, a bit difference only which is the cheese, it makes the Man to be a bit more cheesy, you know what I mean?

The Coco Man on the other hand, is really chocolatey minus the sweetness you find on the usual chocolate that you drink or eat.

sweet daily review food poppy seed cheese coco man coconut man
And what I love about Sweet Daily is that they use paper bags instead of the pollution-maker, plastic! Great~! Support the environment, save mother earth!

I give a 5/10 for Coco Man (I don't really like a bitter cookie) and 8/10 for the other two~! Cuz they really taste alike. As for the Coco Man, I suggest maybe they can add stuff to make it sweet, like choc chips or walnuts, you know?

Aren't they just yummy??? We got samples everyday man from the owner! Everytime we go in his shop, he gives us free slices! Yesterday we had chocolate and sweet potato (boy that was real soft!). Today we had cheese souffle and blueberry cake. My, the blueberry is a real one, no doubt. And the cheese, my, it melts in the mouth, just like Secret Reipe's. But it crumbles, my guess is because the shop's a healthy one. It says at the door- trans fat free, uses pure belgian chocolate, uses butter only (no margarine) and no use of shortening. The price of the cakes are okay, really okay. Cheese, it's acceptable the fact that they are expensive and boy it's real tasty. Secret's also priced at the same level, so it's okay.

Here's another cute thing to show. It's situated at the further corner of the shop.

As you can see, the shop's having a promo (they call it Temporary Opening) on the cakes, 10%! Not bad huh? Like I said, the shop will be opened officially on 27th March! =)
